About Dr Cara Williams
Cara Williams is a Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology and menopause care. She qualified in medicine at the University of Edinburgh in 2003 and completed her specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology across the Mersey and London deaneries, including two clinical fellowships in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology at University College London Hospital and Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

Both Alder Hey and Liverpool Women's are registered NHS England specialist centres for congenital gynaecological anomalies. Dr Williams's NHS team runs up to ten paediatric and adolescent gynaecology clinics a week, including dedicated clinics for congenital gynaecological anomalies, Turner syndrome, endocrine gynaecology, paediatric vulval conditions and premature ovarian insufficiency.
